We Won!!!!

After solving 1500+ math problems over 4 weeks, South Broadview was chosen in a draw to be the school that will win status at the Kraft HomeTown Hockey event in March! Grades 3-5 will gain ‘preferred’ seating at the March 6 assembly at SMS, a banner to display our school, and we will also hold a special assembly at SBR to celebrate with all students! Great job everyone. Congratulations to all schools in Salmon Arm – collectively we solved over 7000 math problems in a month. That’s the biggest prize of all!

We are thrilled to announce that on Feb 12, students at South Broadview Elementary will be offered FREE admission if accompanied by an paying adult admission. They okay West Kelowna at 7pm.


As you may know- students have been working hard to solve math problems all month in support of winning the Hometown Hockey challenge. Students are working hard on math problem solving !

Lastly… the Silverbacks has donated tickets to our school for the final regular season game. All students who have solved problems through this challenge will be entered in the draw. The game will be held on Feb 23 at 3 pm.


Congratulations to the many families who participated in the Unplug & Play event last week. We were thrilled to see many passports turned in this week. Great job :). As always – we hear only positive feedback from both parents and students when they take part in this event.
